Brad Clark is the former President & CEO of the Gill Foundation, where he directed over $150 million in investments aimed at advancing full equality for LGBTQ Americans through advocacy, litigation, and public education initiatives.
Brad began his career in his home state of Iowa, serving as the campaign director for One Iowa and executive director of Iowa Safe Schools. Through bipartisan campaigns, he successfully protected the freedom to marry and secured anti-bullying and civil rights protections for LGBTQ Iowans.
Later in Colorado, Brad was the founding executive director for One Colorado. Under his leadership, One Colorado built a bipartisan, grassroots coalition to pass civil unions and comprehensive anti-bullying laws, as well as establishing healthcare insurance protections for transgender Coloradans.
Additionally, Brad served as the director of the Human Rights Campaign’s Project One America, a cross-organizational program to integrate political, advocacy, communications and membership campaigns to bridge divides and win hearts and minds in the Deep South.
Brad serves on the boards of Voter Participation Center, Colorado Donor Network, History Colorado, and Project Angel Heart. He lives in Denver with his partner, Craig, and their dog, Ruth.
